I find it surreal guys like McGregor, Tate and Tyson are wandering around, still have fans, a media profile, and whatnot, despite it being incredibly likely all three are violent rapists. It's one of the worst things you can do and even that doesn't seem to matter in the current environment.

I can’t speak to the CM/Tate stuff.
If Mike Tyson violently raped you, I can’t imagine scenario where you are not physically disfigured for life. Just my opinion.
But, it’s based on pretty good authority.
I heard from what I consider a credible source that the ‘Rape’ of that girl was little more than after sex/getting off him saying basically’thnx, now wiggle your ass back home’ and her (a beauty queen contestant with a curfew and after boasting to her trusted friends (read BQ competition) having to take the walk of shame so soon after a lavish limo pickup

Certainly a possibility, but I think it's pretty difficult to get that kind of thing to court, let alone get a conviction, particularly when you're going up against a celebrity. It's not the only accusation of that sort that's been made against him either.

It is a quandary though when it’s any figure one admires for one thing, be it sport, art, thought etc. to find out (or are credible accusations) of heinous/repugnant behaviour.
How we/I reconcile that with the work we/I admire them for.

There is the whole Teddy Atlas (his sister or something) that I am aware of. And I’m not condoning aggressive come ons or the grabbing of ass type stuff. But it’s very different than rape.

I think you just have to live with the discomfort and say good boxer, horrible bloke.

The Tyson autobiography is quite good & half-honest,

Can't see McGregor having the same level of insight yet the rat but who knows what the future brings
