Deleted, too crude and generalisations of how easy American ladies might be given circumstantial evidence
It’s impossible to generalize American women beyond the mid-west where they fall into two categories (generally) vapid and/or fat.
Don’t get me wrong we have enough sluts over here to populate a mid size nation.
Personally though, from my experience, the most perverse (therefore memorable) where from Czeh, Spain & Sweden respectively.
Those were the only women I knew more perverted than most guys. Of course they were just individuals and I couldn’t say that about entire countries.
God I hope (but am pretty sure) there aren’t any women here.
Apologies for my locker-room misogyny if there is.

You def had types - Jane Austen ocd’s through to east coast blow ins from students to working families following job moves to transient/itinerant even army brats and Twilight sorority remnants. You could get talking to a group of married women nearly anywhere east coast all times of year and the accent was like a beacon. Just observe their competitive spirit

Not a humblebrag just adults with scarce annual holiday/vacation allowance times, which in turn encouraged going full steam ahead with alcohol and sex

Themes - the ‘exotic’ seen and ‘exchanged’ from domestic pov’s and certain flip/alt variations, not tickling trout hence the deletion. Think @luka saw toasted American sandwiches as exotic, the buildings constructing their carcinogenic mess too but Trump’s rhetoric over US superiority may have shaken such a perspective

Tried articulating a similar point to someone here previously over cultural novelties eg any of The Dudes could pull in specific pubs and places here simply from verbalising their backgrounds and one or two “maybe there’s a green card in this”, although @Clinamenic might take a first date tripping and jumping out of planes and @sus well this constant chatter about chainsaws I mean who am we to speculate

As a younger man, every weekend in the US was a riot roaming down the east coast. More women who were house and music heads although the former is almost extinct eg Shelter crews. Caught the very end of DC hardcore, nuts how many choices any night of the week offered if not working. Don’t mean in reductive terms, more pre-internet generations who pursued music in person ie during a lunch break to grip the timing of a release or time off out on a weekend record shopping from defunct record shops. Different compared to sausage fest British record stores at the time

Add seasonal ranges. Summer along the coast of Jersey, Delaware and Virginia was laced with spots an absolute guaranteed hoot. Genuine depravity, small bars rammed with people looking to do more than jig without the chaos of resorts around the Mediterranean, Algarve, or wherever the place to go is re summer currently, in itself usually shifting

Have those posts been properly archived? That was a wild chapter in board history. The dissertation and all leading up to the rap performance. Chefs kids.

I think it's relative. You could do a psychological 'experiment' where most people have beards, the odd one without a beard would be perceived as less desirable. That said, I remember on a film forum an American watched Bill Forsyth film and commented that they were all ugly.

dunno about other bits of the country but england is a bit exceptional for the extent to which people don't give a shit about what they look like. i mean they do a bit. but not that much compared to most other places i've been. it's probably a good thing. there's a really high tolerance for men's hair in particular being messy. disordered. flopping about. a symbol that doesn't translate outside. the heart of english attitudes to that is avoiding looking like you're trying too hard. there's a certain solidarity in that.

Americans are like that about foreskins. Or they always used to be, maybe it's changing now.

Its cos its a nation of inwardness and myopia
i dunno if it's something that comes from old history, windswept farmers, gentlemen in top hats. or if it's something that comes from the weird stuttering version of modernity you get in england. something from the near past or the distant past

I was floored by Irish girls's makeup rituals

Rode the train from Tralee to Dublin, 3+ hours, and some gals spent every minute on application

Phrase that kept going through my mind was "Old Masters" of brush & blush. So many layers, contours, darker bases peaking through light dusted surfaces. Fake eyebrows. Curling irons. Perfume bottles. Whole train car smelled like a bouquet. Never seen anything like it. None of them were recognizable afterward. I'd have struggled to matchup before & after in a lineup.
