The big new star in my corner shop is the Korean fire noodles. First time I bought them I was paralytic and didn't know what I was letting myself in for. I added chilli sauce and fresh chilli and the pain was borderline unbearable even in that state

im going to eat a pack of these for breakfast in a bit

it is and amazing video about a huge instant noodle superstore where you prepare and eat your noodles there and can choose from a range of extra toppings. highly recommend watching it.

Maggi are on offer at aldi, an adequate replacment for their own-brand. Bought 3x curry flavour today and mixed with shitakes and oyster mushrooms fried in butter, then stir fried with an incredibly rich egg. Soy sauce all over it to finish.

I eat this filth as an Act of Hormesis, to remind my gut not to be too complacent on its diet of the finest meat and dairy.

Anyone here ever tried those South Korean Buldak instant noodles?

I had some a year or so ago, the ones with the black packaging I think, and they were insane, one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten in my life, a proper endurance test that opened up every single pore in my body. Since then I've feared trying them again but I'm gonna give the curry flavoured ones a go now. I'll let you know how I get on.

Those buldak ones are amazing, i thought my tolerance to spice was far better than it actually is. Brutal. Taste great once you've got through the initial burn though

I would like to try the ones they banned in Denmark but they don't have that version in Costco. Shame

Never seen the the Penang ones, but the buldak ones are in all the corner shops here now. These are the ones I'm about to try. The noodles themselves are a lot thicker than your average.

Just added the sachet of sauce, which was scarily dark and thick in consistency. It's 38 degrees now here in Seville, probably should have gone for a gazpacho 🥵
