yeah, the problem for Labour right now is they don't have a band of useful idiots against which they can position themselves, like Boris had Mark Francois et al... Cummings described how they would use the the 2 hour news cycle... something would get leaked to Mark Francois at 8am, Mark Francois would be unable to contain his righteous fury and he'd inevitably express his outrage publically by 10am, then Boris would pop up and offer a moderate centre-leaning position in time for the lunchtime news... thus allowing Boris to present as even-handed and moderately-progressive... https://www.mackinac.org/OvertonWindow
