OK , this isn't 'Roll the Beats' which is our favorite, but the slick chaos of this, its crepuscular wackiness, its dank passages, is 93 at its peak.

They went crazy in 93. The weirdness on the bottom of end of those compilations and tape packs from the time is something else. We have three tracks like this in succession now, all amazing, and there because it's some of my favorite music of all, so I'm going for a fag, while you all argue about which mix of 'The Dark Stranger' is best.

Let's Talk About Ceps
you wont catch them learning how to play a stupid keyboard
Learn to play electric guitar. Real man's instrument, that. Form an extreme metal band with Padraig, poetix and vim.

Edit: ha, I thought you'd typed "won't catch me"...

too busy learning their complicated and hard samplers which you couldn't learn at school in 93. everyone does now though

Right then.

This 2 Bad Mice remix achieves what I think Goldie was trying and failing to achieve on things like 'Sea of Tears' and 'Timeless': a genuine jungle elegy, effortless sweep and scope and dexterity and emotion. Maybe this is not what jungle was supposed to do, but it worked here. Played loud, it is stunning.

gone too soon, this is wicked proper sci-fi music, the jungle stuff is the best at this party, for me.
