I know we have the Trump thread and various others, but I like the event threads for stuff like this, the World Cup etc. Makes it a bit more exciting and means you don't have to dig through 300 pages or so.

Predictions? I thought Trump would win last time, but my gut says this time he won't. I don't think people are convinced by Biden, but I think a lot of them are sick of the circus. Who knows though. He's certainly going out of his way to rig it.

I think so too. And I also think that if his attempts to rig/cancel the election are successful, it reveals that whoever has the power to legitimize/reschedule the election is in his pocket - but then again, I don't even know who that would be. If there is a special committee tasked with administering an election, or if it is one of the responsibilities of a permanent committee.

The conspiracy theories will go into overdrive if he ever dies, particularly whilst in office or campaigning. To be honest, I don't know how they can let him live once he leaves office. He's a total liability and has had access to all sorts of classified information.

Anyone think this recent spate of scandals will have much influence? Cohen's been hammering Trump for a few days now, there's the ongoing USPS clusterfuck, Woodward's released a tape of him admitting to playing down the virus and has a book on the way and there's the comments about the war dead and the attempt to shut down Stars and Stripes.
