it's all make believe. Trump has always realized and accepted it, everything he's done since Biden hit 270 has been for all for show and fundraising.

Sometimes I think that... but sometimes I swing back to thinking that Trump is so desperate to avoid the consequences of a lifetime of sharp practice that he seriously thinks that he HAS to stay in the White House and will do anything he can to remain there... martial law, faithless electors, alternative electors, executive order, I dunno... just put massive padlocks on the White House and keep tweeting that he's POTUS.

Latest court filing for some bullshit or other in which super-lawyer Lin Wood actually swears that he is committing "plenty of perjury".

Seriously what is going on here? It's not possible for any human to make this many mistakes, these things have templates and form letters and stuff, they must be actively changing them to make themselves look (more) stupid. Some people are saying that these mistakes are a signal to Q-Anon types... but that is obviously mental.. but what are they doing?

Maybe they believe they're being clever, sticking it to the man/system/deep state by not playing by the rules. fuck 'em, don't waste yr energy thinking about it, they're irrelevant at this point.

If Fox News is scared -- they ran the mea culpa video on three of their worst offending programs -- then I think it's safe to say it's a legit case of defamation.

Hard to see how it wouldn't be.
For a long time Powell has been making up ludicrous lies about Dominion that could damage their business, put staff at risk etc why wouldn't they sue?

Just watched the Newsmax apology... with countless comments below about how it's been infiltrated by the deep state and where to get unbiased news now.. others just saying "fraud has been proven they should fight"

I like the part in the NY Times article about how oftentimes Trump manages to escape but his supporters aren't always so lucky...

And so Newsmax and OAN appear likely to face the same fate as so many of President Trump’s sycophants, who have watched him lie with impunity and imitated him — only to find that he’s the only one who can really get away with it. Mr. Trump benefits from presidential immunity, but also he has an experienced fabulist’s sense of where the legal red lines are, something his allies often lack. Three of his close aides were convicted of lying, and Michael Cohen served more than a year in prison. (Trump pardoned Michael Flynn and commuted the sentence of Roger Stone.)

OAN and Newsmax have been avidly hyping Mr. Trump’s bogus election claims. OAN has even been trying to get to Newsmax’s right, by continuing to reject Joe Biden’s status as president-elect. But their own roles in propagating that lie could destroy their businesses if Mr. Mugica sues.
