We've talked about it a fair bit here, though mostly in passing. What it amounts to seems to be posting, on Twitter, a picture of a cathedral (any old cathedral will do) or a Greek statue side by side with a generic post war office block, or a drunk woman puking in her stilletto and saying "look at how far we have fallen."

I'm not convinced its impossible to reclaim certain critical traditional values without sacrificing some of the more egalitarian values enabled by the subsidence of such traditions.

That is to say, I believe its possible. Just can't be done in bad faith. By returning to certain traditional values, which untradiitonal values are you sacrificing? And who stands to suffer from such sacrifices?

you can see this in the various militant twitter posts and also in that soldier's manifesto someone posted that he wrote before going on a killing spree. people who are unhinged latching on to bizarre notions of honour and duty nicked from shit films and cheesy computer games
