The preeminent indie or "acclaimed" act of the past decade has been Iceage. A few electronic acts have been noticed recently and there has been talk of a "Copenhagen fast techno scene" on places like RA and Fact.

Besides that most music being played is light versions of drill, afrobeat, french autotune rap. a lot of very cringy dancehall was semi-popular up until recently.

she takes sex seriously and responsibily and it forces you to do the same. the split in your consciousness is mended. soon she is preganant. you will call your child Entertainment, after Entertainment who made this union possible. years later, watching your son laughing and cavorting, tumbling and leaping on the summer lawn, in the water spray from the sprinkler, you try to remember Corpsey. You cannot. It was another life, lived by another.

she has a stern name, like Agnete or Ane and a stern gaze but she is not dispassionate or without kindness.

injustice and cruelty make her angry and in her company you find your nihilism and fatalism fall away. you remember that life matters and that society matters, and that we have let our house fall into disrepair and must mend it. you start volunteering. you clear litter from a beach. you invest your time in helping others less fortunate than yourself and you see, with joy, that her esteem for you grows.

you start to write poetry. small, modest but fiercely worked poems about small, modest things. a pebble, a shell, a seagull's feather.

you ask her to teach you the names of things, and she walks with you through the woods and meadows and marsh and moor pointing out the flowers and the rocks the beetles the winged things and the furred things and gives their names to you. and the world comes into focus for the first time.
