That is a weird accent. I don't get it either, why would you have such a big bar with about thirty seats for a town with 5 people. It actually looks like my kind of bar anyway. Well one of my kinds of bar... honestly I like almost any bar.

Bar looks great, definitely I would nip in there for a quick half at 11am and end up staggering out when it closed, probably sleep on the sofa of one of those ladies and next day we would be waiting together outside the door before it opened.

takes me back to an internship i did in 2021. it involved going through the websites of rural mn town/township governments and putting contact info about their government personel into a database. was a fascinating look into "real america" although this was the only artifact i salvanged:

we're both originally from the west coast but i've had a more prolonged exposure to the Culture, living in the suburbs here since i was 5—whereas other life got a more concentrated dose by actually living in a small town up north for a while.
