i'll see if they've got it at the library, i'm not buying it. my mate just recommended this book called "breath" to me, he said most of us breathe wrong. he said he's now taping his mouth shut with surgical tape at night to prevent mouth breathing and is feeling MUCH better for it.

but i think there's limits to these things.

i have really scatty dream-like memories of the year we realised all the head shops up north were suddenly selling magic mushrooms and all we had to do was dry them, that was a really twisted summer in my life tho i probably only did this a handful of times

Doing half a dose and a mitsi and leaving clubs at 6am led to some revelatory afters im sure, though i mostly just remember visuals in voodoo getting pummelled by kick drums

I remember that year, it was like 2003 or 4? You could go to Camden lock and buy loads of really strong mushrooms. I remember going to a free the mushroom rave in tufnel Park

I think it was 2004. Some went as far as to call it a third Summer of Love.

I think the ban came in 2005 as we definitely had a big session at 2004 xmas but yeah for me the summer of 2004 was probably the one. Felt a lot of freedom in the air that year

The information in this book is semi-outdated. Most is common sense like "stay away from processed sugars and brush your teeth".

There are better books these days on the subject.

Then Nathan Barley came along and parodied a scene that was already well on the way to parodying itself.

it was that moment just before the parody went mainstream. the mushrooms probably did have a lot to do with it all, but the recuperation was quick (if im using that term correctly)

Shoreditch was only a very small part of it, very easy to dodge

I might grow some mushrooms what are good trippy ones we can do in this climate
