We should have @0bleak on zoom when we meet. Not sure if I'm gonna get this session together where he comes over to dh, altho twh have just made a new pub/bookshop and I reckon it would be cheap/free to put on a night there. They've got a pulpit/crows nest where the dj plays from

I have put 2 gigs on at kraak before, which is the upstairs of the peer hat, or maybe it's the same thing. Definitely a good place, very affordable. Same sort of vibe as p3 in a sense, although I prefer p3

Great Tarab Mix, High sound quality | Part 1 | منوعات طربية رائعة بجودة صوت عالية

posting this because the wallpaper on the video resembles the kaleidoscopic patterns I witnessed last Sunday morning after swallowing a handful of the mushrooms @catalog gave me at the last "great northern dissensus meet up"

imagine trying to navigate your way to your bathroom when all you can see is that pattern....

edit :before the patterns took over and I was having a cig and looking out the kitchen window I noticed that there was a tree who I have never noticed before and she performed a special dance for me, and then another tree competed for my attention and, maybe that was when I realised the mushrooms were showing me something... and then my whole field of vision became consumed by the kaleidoscope... and that's why any posts I've made since saturday should be ignored....

you should have asked me about "GO" this evening at the Great Northern Dissensus Meet Up , I've got bare stories

edit: @catalog, at the next great northern dissensus meet up you can ask me anything about the guy from Manchester in this video, but i'm not going to post anything on a public forum, etc.,

I've not learnt my lesson about posting when in altered states, but one of my regrets is that one of my former work colleagues knew someone who was working as an archivist at a local institution which had come into possession of a few cardboard boxes full of Delia Derbyshire reel to reel tapes and there was an invitation to smoke skunk and listen to them 'on the roof", but for whatever reason it never happened... I was so disappointed although I understand that maybe the head of the institution was a bit of a...and she probably forbid them being played... anyway @catalog might know her, I think she was his boss, at least a few months ago, whenever the last great northern dissensus meetup was
at a "great northern dissensus meet up" i was trying to explain to @catalog the worst rated channel 4 show ever, "directions", and a legendary episode that featured Vonnegut vs Gunter Grass, and how the ashtray could not contain Kurt's stubs...
there's long and boring story that I may relate at the next "great northern dissensus meet up" about some 'new age travellers" from Hulme, Manchester who ended up in field next to nurse with wound's Stapleton's landholding in Ireland... ( actually it may be up just this forums' alley as it involves "nonce" antics with a 14 year old girl ... )

at least i didn't see a blinding blue flash

but I have on another occasion

if any of you come to the next northern dissensus meetup ask me about "abstracting electricity"

Mark Stewart - Passcivecation Program

I RAN to the turntable the first time I put this album on

puffing on the needle to blow away imaginary fluff

an education in electro noise!

edit: I've only run to my turntable another time, and that was a shared LSD nightmare that you can ask me about at the next "great northern dissensus meetup" - key words: holographic sound & fisting *****

...

my favourite Mark:

Mark Stewart - Resistance of the Cell

grandmaster fluff!

sugarhill gang distortion!

***** - this is lie, I positively sprinted to my amplifier once when I put a Masonna album on, I thought the "cones" of my expensive speakers were going to rip and tear

Masonna - Frequency L.S.D . ( Full album )

i got about 5 seconds into this before i broke the land speed record

Jah Shaka Brixton Town Hall late 70s

* if you get a chance to watch this documentary, then DO! It's mainly Young Lion ( the scene where they test their new speaker by lighting a match and watching it extinguish due to the air pressure from their new speaker is something special ) and Coxsone Outernational, but a precious slice of alternative UK history ( I might be able to dub a DVD for anyone who turns upto to the next Northern Dissensus meetup, big talk I can't live up to, lol )

at the next great northern dissensus meetup

ask me about my brother's encounter with Jimmy Saville

and how Dennis Nilsen tried to chat me up and lure me back to his flat at 3 am Kings Cross Station

next dissensus northern meetup - ask me about the items stapled to the wall in an adult shop in Tokyo's "booktown"
at the next Great Northern dissensus meet-up ask me about "Mrs Brock" and felt tip pens....

at the next Great Northern Dissensus meet-up ask me about "telepath woman" and buckle in for a tale of rogue Cambridge professors, unsolicited ketamine injections in a Chorlton park before being removed to a secret underground base underneath UMIST which was operated by Chinese secret service, how she experienced the "r" word at the hands of a Cambridge professor, and how she was banned from Edinburgh University by the Koestler Parapsychology Unit

9 year old Bill scouted the bookshops of Glasgow searching for a copy of the Tommy B poems, little did I know, ask me at the next northern dissensus meet-up about T family gossip, lol, I can probably throw in a bit of Peake biz on top

first tune is A Guy Called Gerald, next great northern dissensus meetup ask me about how we bumped into him in front of Charles Barry crescent

next great northern dissensus meetup ask me about the guy who was trying to argue with Pete Burns at the counter of probe records because his copy of "How To Destroy Angels" only had one side, I sort of interjected but the guy needed money for drugs, he didn't really care for the magick

and I can probably gossip about nuclear waste which is dumped weekly in the Irish Sea at the next great northern dissensus meetup

did I tell you about the time I was invited to an AEON OV MAAT RITUAL by MOUSE from ZOS KIA?

maybe I'll chat about it at the next Northern Dissensus meetup

New Age traveller /Raver X ( CROSS ) over!

New Age travellers - teenage diaries - between two worlds

^ I rescued this girls fake uncle from drowning, true story ask @catalog about it, I'll tell him all about Brig at the next great Dissensus meetup

One day I was opening up the UK's first Internet cafe and the proprietor of the local free newspaper was there, standing at the door, and he machine gunned fast fired questions at me "What's your philosophy?" - "what to you hope to achieve?" - "Do you have a MISSION STATEMENT!?" and I looked at his face and it was pretty ASHEN for a POC and I looked down and there were pools of blood and the femur of his right leg was poking through his jeans and I could SEE THE MARROW and I said to him "maybe you should sit down, you're bleeding" ( an understatement, there was POOLS of blood"...

to be continued at the next GREAT NORTHERN DISSENSUS MEETUP

I could tell you tale or two at the next great dissensus meetup

IdleRich

IdleRich
But a) that will cost probably in the thousands and b) I'm not in London

The other day I had to get back from Oxford to Wantage at 4am, only way was a taxi, it was £70, yes seventy quid. I don't even dare to think about the cost of a taxi from London to deepest darkest Manchestshire

No I know someone who gets these decent uber minibus deals. It's expensive if it's one person and unplanned, if there's 6bof you and you set a date, it's like 60 return
