I haven't checked this one yet but I'm sold anyhow. I love those kinda ebm beats and although I'm far from being a fan of Mary J I've always had a soft spot for that tune - or in fact the vocal, love the building, nagging nature of it. So as soon as I realised what that was gonna be my I felt like someone had made a song for me. Or, to put it more negatively, I wondered why the fuck I had never done it myself...
If this side is also good then so much the better. But I've already resolved to buy a copy and rinse it every time I dj...

this is my tune of day. more in the slow dance music lane.
i.e. you'd probably call this more "left-field // synthpop" in Discogs terms but you could play it in a cosmic Balearic meets Paradise Garage type set
or as a comment says, "New Wave dub". like a record Holger Czukay and Jah Wobble might have made at the time, but wispier.
a personal favorite, by one of the Wire dudes, one of several excellent side projects members were involved in the mid-80s
