those first two cooly g albums are class. i always liked those things that clung on the coattails of 'dubstep'. the first kode9 record, the cooly g ones, the bug, burial, they're different from one another but at the time they all came through to me on that slipstream. with cooly g there's the beginnings of that auto-everything thing going on. plaintive and direct. those kind of vocals with a uk rather than us accent kill me too. anything that sounds a bit like it was made by someone i went to school with.
