Awful news, still haven't come to terms with his passing.
Yes it shook me. A special dj with great taste and such a funny and friendly man. Met him a few times over the years and he was always good craic, up for a chat and so knowledgable. sad news
Second the friendly comment. I saw him play out a few times from 2011 to 2014, and specifically remember meeting him in a green room at an event in Sheffield in 2012. Spent what felt like hours drinking and talking with such enthusiasm about Glasgow, happy hardcore and his love of Scott Brown. Bumped into him again a few months later at Warehouse Project, he instantly remembered me and went out his way to talk to me despite that club being absolute carnage inside. Imagine most people that met him during that period were left with similar impressions.
