Can Pitt convey the melancholy + ennui of undead eternity? Not even remotely, but he's trying his best, dammit. Tom Cruise, going for it in a definitely not gay vampire movie. All those asshole Paris vampires with their fin de siecle Old World decadence (and Antonio Banderas' absurd wig). I mean come on yall its Neal Jordan. In paycheck/exploitation cinema mode to be sure, but still.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is on the same sumptuous, practical effects, early 90s tip but more like a less good but still pretty good throwback to Coppola's classic 70s biz. Gary Oldman, fucking going for it. Keanu Reeves...trying, I guess.

I actually just watched this a month or so ago, that Walken scene was a treat haha
