Pun's like Biggie in that he's the end point of rappers whose main influence is Kool G Rap, both had senses of humour and could do street/mainstream tracks equally well but Pun could get more gothic or bawdy depending on the track.

‼️Just realised that if you reverse the first letters of his name you get "Pig Bun", a well known slang term for bacon sandwich. ‼️

I was taping Tim Westood's show on Radio 1 when I heard "Twinz 98" for the first time and of course rewound the "dead in the middle of little Italy..." line repeatedly until I could recite it.

At that time (on Westwood's show, anyway) it was all about Big Pun, Canibus, DMX, Noreaga and Cam'ron.
