no not the fellowship track the Johnson & Johnson one that's the track i'm talking aboutNot listened to those new 2 yet webesc but I will do today I think. I have to clear up a load of brick dust so they will be my soundtrack.
I sort of see what you mean re real friends vs that freestyle fellowship one. There are differences to my ears, cleaner production on Kanye I suppose, but I see where you are coming from.
here's the next two tracks Cat
its a Sunday so these two are smoother sounding
oops - yeah i think i meant that sorryno not the fellowship track the Johnson & Johnson one that's the track i'm talking about
i like the album that Pink Siifu track is off, its not just r&b typish stuff but trap, Outkast sounding southern rap, funk and a whole lot of other stuffdevin the dude, i've heard that name but dont think i've heard this. it's a throwback to the 80s! sorta reminds me of slick rick or someone like that. biz markie. comfortable/nonchalant style belying good rhymes and decent storytelling. i like the modulations in the delivery, when he suddenly speeds up a little. it's a little bit too laid back for me to enjoy it in the way i would other stuff, also seems to peter out a little, but if it was on the radio i would turn it up.
2nd one is not what i would normally call hip hop. more soul/rnb in the start then goes somewhere else but never mind. brings to mind Isaac hayes but early 2000s. stream of consciousness lyrics and i like those alice coltrane style chimes that pop in and out. not sure about the female vox that come in, it's trying to do a few too many things perhaps, not all that successfully (i do like it when songs wrongfoot you but in this case i don't think it works so well).
nu metal is considered cool in alot of circles these daysjust the picture embed on the 2nd one. like slipknot. but no mask.
This is part of what's being discussed in 'Myspace Chic'.nu metal is considered cool in alot of circles these days
pop punk coming back and Travis Barker's one man crusade to collaborate with everybodyThis is part of what's being discussed in 'Myspace Chic'.
i picked these cause like i said at the start even though i don't like em it would be stupid to play ignorant of it existing, that's where indie rockers failed and then they wonder why nobody gives a shit about the new Low album but Linkin Park seem to be getting more love than ever these daysCannot compute it but yes.
What about xxxtentacion?i never liked lil peep but i think the castles ep is "interesting" and alot of critics even people who i never thought would be interested in his music at least think there was something going on with his music even if most of it was junk
