Well they do like to stay on the same riff for a long time but I'm hoping that after 33 years they may have been able to change a little...My mate Wal did this at a Spacemen 3 gig at Dingwalls in 1988. Didn’t go well.

What do you mean by this Leo? Just that Neu nailed this sound to perfection (which I agree with entirely) or something more?
This is really good.
Actually this one is the nearest to that idea (that I'm aware of), dunno why I didn't think of it cos I have played it a lot over the years.
Fritz Müller - Oh Mann
This guy was in the early lineups of Kraftwerk & Neu!. This recording of what sounds like a studio jam from 1973 features Klaus Dinger on drums, and it is rumoured that some of the others from Kraftwerk were also involved. It's noisier ( and far worse recorded ) than either of those groups, but there's a motorik chug beating away under the distorted freakout. Could best be described as a "historical document" which probably explains why it was never released at the time. Interesting to hear the early "Kraftwerk" rock out, but maybe a one listen deal.
and while I'm on a Chrome trip..
Damon Edge - Blue Nights
the entirety of the Alliance album is a motorik masterpiece
woops nicked a synth from there right in front of them and the staff were so conflict averse they just let him do itWe were chatting about the rough trade staff in my 100 tunes thread - the other guy that worked there was the bass player in loop. Neil.
This is cool... also one of the few suggestions that is actually motorik.
