This is cool... also one of the few suggestions that is actually motorik.
Anyway, here is another sort of motorik one. I have had this record for years but I never really thought that it would work in a club. Then a year or two back Liza came back from a trip to Dusseldorf with this album and she started playing it in her sets to great effect annoyingly enough...

Emperor Machine are another band who - to my ears - strive to make "dance music" that, maybe isn't strictly motorik, but which has the same (or similar) effect on the listener as a ten minute motorik kraut jam might.
I'm gonna include them anyway cos I like their music and it's my thread so there

Another almost-motorik one, sounds to me like some kind of rusting robot army marching jerkily but unstoppably onwards, creaking and limping in step. In case it's not clear, it seems that the sound of robots marching makes for good music.

Fritz Müller - Oh Mann
This guy was in the early lineups of Kraftwerk & Neu!. This recording of what sounds like a studio jam from 1973 features Klaus Dinger on drums, and it is rumoured that some of the others from Kraftwerk were also involved. It's noisier ( and far worse recorded ) than either of those groups, but there's a motorik chug beating away under the distorted freakout. Could best be described as a "historical document" which probably explains why it was never released at the time. Interesting to hear the early "Kraftwerk" rock out, but maybe a one listen deal.

Who is the most hated band on dissensus? Gotta be one of the contenders...
And I totally get why. Even when (as occasionally happens) I like one of their songs, there is something really irritating about them. Also, I'm hardly someone who cares about "good" singing, but Gillespie always sounds so underwhelming, a pathetically thin whiny little voice lost in the background, adding nothing but a minor feeling of annoyance.

One which I like a lot but which I love despite it being so tantalisingly teasingly short that there is almost nothing of it to love. I keep meaning to have a crack at editing it to be longer but I just don't know what to do to make it five times as long and still as good as the bit that already exists. Plus I don't really know how to re-editing stuff... but it seems wrong to make something that is motorik but less than two minutest long.

a lot of cabs has it. suicide too. that gloomy mechanic portishead record did it well as far as i remember.
