if i remember it right Barthes says that the pornographic is by nature un-erotic because it cuts off the image from any deeper levels of engagement. it says "this is what sex is, exactly this and nothing more." my idea is that modern culture machine is doing the same kind of thing by enforcing this bureaurocracy of libido, the same kind of flattened representation that says "this is how sex works, this is it" except without the explicit images.

it's no suprise really that young people are having less and less sex.

there is a general principle i've found that when you push through the layers of fakeness at some point you get to a new sense of real

yet ive always only gotten severely bummed out by girls who moan like they do in porn. it throws me out the zone

The search in dissensus cannot do three letter words or less. That's all you need to do.

But you can help yourself if you can remember something from the title, that's the thing I use a lot.
