Ok so the number one example of anti-phallic rap is Lauryn Hill's album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill". The classic hit from it, "That Thing", deals with objectification.

"All Hail the Queen" by Queen Latifah is another great example of feminine, feminist hip hop. The title track is full of feminist messages.

Can you give an example of an "agentically oriented altruist?" By altruistic behavior I just mean behavior done for the sake of others.

I just want to point out that, despite labeling me a bigot, beiser has here misgendered me, which is one of the most bigoted things you can do. Imagine someone calling a bisexual man "not bisexual" because he has sex with too many women. Imagine someone telling a transperson they just "have a weird fantasy". It's blatant disrespect to refuse to recognize a person as a member of the gender identity they identify as. As if your opinion matters to whether or not I'm feminine. But his misgendering of me is a clear example of phallic marginalization of feminine people.

Unfortunately the Queen metaphor is incredibly problematic and phallic. Latifah merely plays out the old egocentric status games while performing feminist lip service. True ecological rap would not center one "genius" individual, but would be based on collectivity

Yes, anyone who does tings for others as a means of self-obliteration. But the self, the agent, remains the center of their ontology. They aren't optimizing for "the social mesh" or "planetary equilibrium." They're optimizing for Fred, or Rhonda. This is just phallic thinking displaced. This is just self-love projected onto an idealized other.

I only speak with ecological allies. If you were an ally it would have been 5'10" away, and the elastic band would be used to bind together the disparate warring forces of the world into unity, and the pint glass would be filled with breast milk

the identity stuff is enlightening up to a point. actually that's surprisingly part of what i got out of k punk, that was the manna for me, the class identity bits. so many people are going through the same process of that empowerment and explanation via identity lens. what i realized in the end though is that it's only one piece of the puzzle and when you lean into it too heavy you go blind. manosphere is partly the gross media products of that leaning in i think.

one of the first albums i knew all the words to (lauryn hill). fasinating figure. posh private school girl from NJ right? i don't totally buy your phallic/non-phallic terminology myself. but that lauryn hill album is definitely a relief in hophop land coz of how conservative it is. hearing those firey bars about sexual abstention under the eyes of god.
