Yeah, he's been on Piers Morgan, Channel 4, Novara, etc. and has his own YouTube channel and has published a couple of books. There's some suggestion he's been bullshitting about his trading history, but dunno that that detracts from his message.

I'm in two minds about this as it's certainly possible, but a publication like the FT and people involved in finance obviously have a vested interest in undermining someone saying the things he does.

One of the hurdles with the 'tax the billionaires' thing's how do you stop them just leaving for another country, offshoring their wealth, etc.

When the tax rate was higher in the 70s didn't they raise proportionately less tax? If so they got it wrong I guess.

There's a clip of him talking about the higher tax rate in the 50s, 60s and 70s. I don't know enough about the subject to know whether he's right that it would solve our problems now.

Me either. I guess there are so many variables anyway it's far too simplistic to simply say that putting the same top rate will have the same result.

What they need to do is ban nom-doms, I don't reckon there are that many people who will totally leave the UK for good but many would become non-dom I guess to have the best of both worlds.

I'm put off by the clickbait vid titles, but I suppose that's the nature of the beast. You have to play the game somewhat to get an audience.
