I’m at an inter-commune housing fair now, and I just learned about an effective altruist house called The Sandwich which has 17 rooms for lodging and multiple subunits, including The Pickle, The Toothpick, and The Upper Crust.

Rumor has it that the Waymos have learned to beep at other cars now, when they are within a certain proximity or something. So when all the Waymos retire for the evening, and return to their little parking lot somewhere, they end up beeping at each other and getting caught in a feedback loop. Not unlike the ending of Holy Motors. Feature or bug?
