@Clinamenic pls party report Love Symposium
I went with my friend Lucy who was hosting a workshop on "looksmaxing" wherein people give constructive cosmetic and vibe-based feedback to each other. It was mostly regarding the fact that most men (myself included) have no idea what women find attractive in terms of cloths, to the extent that we often never even think about these things.

Aella was also there, and had a talk just called "Aella". To my knowledge there was no orgy on the official schedule.

But it happened anyway

Women do notice men's cloths but I think there are a few basics it pays to hit as most men fail: making sure the cloths fit properly, not just wearing a hodgepodge of your favourite things i.e. don't have them clash, making sure they aren't the sort of thing worn by undesirables. At the top levels you'd want to wear unique high quality pieces that aren't too flashy BUT they may not want to be outdressed!

I say this as the wearer of fluorescent yellow Primark shorts a few dissensus meets ago.

But a Primark suit that fits you to the t will look better than a £1000 ill-fitting suit.

What was Aella's talk about? What sort of advice did you give? Was it good advice? What was the most ridiculous thing anyone there said? The most memorable? The sharpest?

Haha thats what I don't know, her talk was just called "Aella". But several people in the milieu have mentioned the high-profile orgies that she orchestrates. I think her site as a form you can fill out if you want to apply to join her orgies.

The bullet points aren't bad, but I guess I've never understood San Franciscans' lack of nominal imagination

"I would like to start a group of intellectuals, who live in San Francisco. What should I call it? Oh, I've got it! San Francisco Intellectuals! Ok great, now that's sorted, I'd like to host a symposium... About love and romance... I've got it! Love Symposium!"
