Does it make sense to even talk about being "filled with" rage?

I think people think of anger like this, like there's an anger bucket in everybody that gets steadily filled up with anger molecules until you go berserk.

"Suppressed rage", is this a real thing? I suppose it is, it's the chemical rage reaction going off in your body but you not acting on it, not pushing the prevaricating pensioner into the path of incoming traffic.

I ask this because I find myself to be "full of it" (somebody quote tweet this and say "Tell me about it" for a laugh) — I'm constantly getting triggered by innocuous things, then turning the anger on myself and lecturing myself about not getting angry about innocuous things.

People on here might not think of me as angry because I'm very non-confrontational and I'd prefer to be polite and friendly, but inside I'm churning like a washing machine spin drying magma

are you angry when you are drunk?

Sometimes, in the madness of it all, especially when you're online a lot and having people's #bestlives and perfectly shot avocado toast interwoven with the most horrific war imagery and painfully unfunny shorts and the Paul brothers have staged yet another 100 million dollar ppv spectacle to hundreds of thousands of kids destined to never grow out of puberty and 50 super hot quasi softporn yoga vids are crammed into your eyes at a fantastic rate, not to mention Trump is actually in with a 2nd chance and Elon is the richest lulzy meme slinger in the world, and cities are being gutted of culture and education budgets are being stripped and natural habitats are being ravaged and politicians aren't even trying to hide it anymore, and all the while you're expected to keep your composure.. Nah mate, everything's fine.

You have to have a foot in each camp - calm paternalism in one, smashing seven shades of cough-loosening shit in the other

World is too heavy with the fool count so patience with suffering such bug-life becomes a tiresome facet of human life in itself - you can’t kill em all cue Cliff Burton bass solo take one

Frustrated entitlement and absolute existential horror aren’t mutually exclusive either and there’s been enough of an increase in the latter feeding in to the lives of the former, especially in recent years, to sweep away many of the tried and tested manifestations of class-based existentialist verbosity

A well-steeped tincture 3 x a week = much less rage

That pretty much summarizes my outlook on the world, and why I'm able to maintain composure and equanimity more or less unfailingly, beyond having security in terms of more primal needs.
