Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
I hereby apologise for bullying you about your lack of interest in football.

please, in future, never watch any football game.
Well I can do better than that, since the final was the only match I watched in the entire tournament.

Does a player like Foden need to be ‘bigger’? Not really, aint rugby. His first touch is 10/10, he has an eye for a pass and finish that people who never cut it at international level with masses of England caps could never get close to. Slightly inconsistent yet he has time to improve further, well-balanced overall

Far more pressing issues in football. Good luck at this juncture, England. Spain aren’t going to change. Full court press just to get the ball back, fatigue etc and they can hit more directly now with Morata as the tip of the spear, Spanish squad is always deep and it comes down to the most rudimentary maths of out scoring them when you get chances

England by penalty shootout or a Spanish drubbing, give the place a lift next Monday
HGH is not about getting "bigger'

HGH is not about getting "bigger'

my original point is unrelated to your own which is Foden doesn’t need hgh intervention - he’s good enough as is

if you want to play semantics about the implication of effects maybe start a thread, I dunno reference cycling and broader themes wrt doping

The impression I get of South Gate is that he's very conservative and doesn't run a meritocratic system so much as a system of succession which responds very slowly to changes in merit. This is why the team stayed largely the same throughout. This is also why the camp is harmonious because the high status players don't feel under very much threat and the low status ones don't get too antsy because they know any change is likely to be gradual (so they don't worry if they're not immediately rewarded).

South Gate was also very put out by Grealish coming to the camp early having been told to enjoy his celebrations. In South Gate's mind Grealish was attempting to force his hand, and this kind of subversion he deemed unacceptable. The worst thing about his conservatism and strict sense of hierarchies is that he feels it would be improper for England to defeat better teams. He considers it perfectly correct that they lose to Spain, or Brazil, or France, and that's why he never encourages the team to perform in an uppity novel way or otherwise try to upset the apple cart.

I think Klopp would be more progressive and also popular with the players as another effective father figure.

A guy like Southgate was actually a good look for you, a mitigating countenance against some of these characters, Foden, Kane, Bellingham, Pickford, Rio Ferdinand, Gary Nevillle, that the world has to suffer on your account.
