But they already have been all in on it, and where has it got them? They might want to take time out and tone it down somewhat. I think in the US they tried to at the last minute, but it was too late. Harris tried to emphasis her hard-line prosecutor credentials and rolled back on a lot of more lefty stuff when they realised it wasn't gonna win them the election, too late.
