It's definitely more taboo for a man than a woman to have a sex toy isn't it
Nobody would be pointing and laughing at a woman for having a vibrator (which presumably gets as 'dirty' after use)
This is true and important.
There are whole shops dedicated to selling vibrators in the States, you'll be in a small town and it'll be called Good Vibes and host reading events and sponsor a local girls sports team.
Every single girl New York has at least two in her nightstand drawer. They'll be brought out and deployed even when a boy's over.
Whereas if a gal came over for a one-night stand and saw a man with a 'light she'd head home, game over, real shameful object.
People talk about how female sexuality and masturbation is more taboo than male but I'm not sure that's true in polite society. Yes, in adolescent boys locker rooms everyone's joking about it, but other than Dissensus I haven't heard men speak openly about it. Whereas I've seen posters for Brooklyn instructional seminars on how a woman can reach greater heights of private pleasure, or watched an Amazon Kindle advertisement where a woman's on the beach reading smut, walking shopping aisles blushing as she listens to smut in public, there'll be a young child right down the aisle.
Not saying this out of any manosphere impulse, I'm not sure what should change or how, I'm not even saying it's fair or unfair, just noticing the way the world is.
