i saw Flo Dan w/ the Bug in montreal last week... he was good... the Bug dropped Igloo and Shank riddim, but Daddy Freddy sort of blew Flo Dan off stage... the difference between someone who learned their craft live vs on the pirates...

I saw this same show but in Toronto and I thought that Daddy Freddy was fucking shit. He just kept doing that drum and bass ragga thing where you make staccato noises really fast that sort of resemble words. Flow Dan was sick though - "Who me? Who what? Transit van."

i take it you did not enjoy the We Are The World singalong either...

don't get me wrong, i WENT for Flo Dan, but thought his stagecraft was weak compared to Daddy Freddy...
