EDIT: so people on rwd are saying it's because people were smoking inside and someone tried to kick the door down when they weren't allowed in. as sickboy put so well on that very forum, why not just ban the specific people involved? such a knee-jerk reaction is pretty ridiculous.

Everyone goes on all misty eyed about the Deja Vu era but the MCs were only on that station because, sick of the headache of "managing" them, they'd all got chucked off Rinse for a while.

I'm just pissed because it's comes at a time for me where Dubstep is feeling more and more stale and it's effectively now killed off Rinse for me. I can understand it, don't get me wrong, but this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth especially after how live it's been this weekend.

Maybe an overreaction but an understandable one by the sounds of it. If people persistently do stuff that jeopardises your station you would get the arse wouldn't you.

yeah well they must be at the end of their tether to decide to let thousands of people down like this. somebody's already mentioned how this happened before when Deja Vu came about , hopefully it's only a temporary arrangement. but still! :mad:

definitely bad for the music, but i think if i was holding the bag for the highest profile illegal station in london i'd probably have a pretty low tolerance too.

seems like the ideal setting for live grime on radio, if you want full on clashes and unpredictability, would be the more fly by night operations that can pop up and disappear quickly, not one that's trying to be a model of pirate decorum as it works towards going legit.

that said, the more it changes, the less i listen.
