Even more than on the original?carlos said:something blissblogger wrote reminded me of the recent reissue of King Crimson's "Lark Tongues in Aspic" i bought a few months ago- but the dynamics on this seem to have been exaggerated- the quiet parts are almost inaudible, and the louder parts are totally blasting.

"Badder-Meinhoff Blues" just sounds cool. Gonna have to track that one down.Buick6 said:tracks like Perspectiv IV and Badder-Meinhoff Blues are reasonably kewl.
You've got to be careful with remasters. Unscrupulous record conglomerates have been known to "remaster" from "pristine" copies of first vinyl pressings rather than the original tapes. Always inportant to check the liner notes...carlos said:but it does make me wonder about reissues- how much tinkering is going on in the remaster?

i think if you are looking for prog (or psych) in some ways the US is where all that action is ..

But I hasten to point out that I wouldn't recommend it as a prog or psych album. It's pretty stripped-down rock and quite tracky.
The second one has lost me a bit after only a couple of listens.
