Let's Talk About Ceps
Neither does 'quantum' hocus-pocus.That's a sideshow and nothing to do with academic research.
If the results could have been proven, the prize would have been claimed.

Have you ever used them for Venkmannian purposes?no big surprise, I have a pack of Zener cards
If Randi had been a fair dealer then he would have handed over the money on receipt of the first paper to have been published after peer review with no subsequent academic debunking. But he was as fair a dealer as one would expect one to be with 1 million dollars on the line!Neither does 'quantum' hocus-pocus.

Ahh, so it's all a conspiracy to suppress the truth! I thought as much.If Randi had been a fair dealer then he would have handed over the money on receipt of the first paper to have been published after peer review with no subsequent academic debunking. Don't forget Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women and dogs.Cold rationalism has made me realise that Star Wars is fascist, Harry Potter is fascist neo-feudal dreck, selfie-obsession is fascist, British soap-operas are fascist, sci-fi is generally fascist, ironic detachment is fascist, porn is fascist. Masscult under imperialism is inherently fascistic. Sorry to spoil your 'fun'.
I think you would have the same criterion for 'beyond all scientific doubt' (whatever that means) as Randi would i.e. nothing would meet your undefined standard.Ahh, so it's all a conspiracy to suppress the truth! I thought as much.
Do you have a link to this peer-reviewed paper that proves the existence of ESP beyond all scientific doubt, by any chance?

OK, I've taken the bait and looked at this paper. And they have a grand total of... one data point. Lol. If you could show that random numbers generated by some quantum kit did something statistically unlikely whenever any globally newsworthy event occurred, then they might have something interesting. As it is, it's no more impressive than the correlation between the distance between Neptune and Mercury and petroleum consumption in Azerbaijan.I think you would have the same criterion for 'beyond all scientific doubt' (whatever that means) as Randi would i.e. nothing would meet your undefined standard.
There are hundreds of studies and I've posted one...why not try to deboonk it?
Yes, one data point there because it's about one data point but the probability of the RNG behaving like that is vanishingly small. Other event analyses of that type have been done with results pointing in the same direction but 9-11 is the transfixing, consciousness-corralling world event of the past three decades whereas no-one gives a shit about the data you've got in your graph there.OK, I've taken the bait and looked at this paper. I mean, yeah, this is pretty much the point. But people setting out to prove their hypothesis that quantum something-or-other correlates with events that humans consider important are obviously not going to look at events that don't show any correlation.A good debunk might be to find an event that didn't create RNG disturbance despite being of the same order as other events that did...good luck!
craner taught me to enjoy fascist things.
If you look at the man Luke is today, you can trace almost everything to some offhand comment I made drunk in my 20s
Do you think this reflects well on you?
