Can's Soundtracks (finally picked up a copy, and can't stop listening to "Tango Whiskeyman"), Trevor Jackson's Playgroup 80's/new wave mix, and Mark Ronson's Jay-Z mix for Fade to Black (quite good, and much better than the movie itself if most reviewers are correct...).

I was listening to this the other day and kept thinking 'where do I know this bassline from??!'. Finally realized it was the same b-line from a basic channel track, aptly named 'e2-e4 basic reshape'.

I listened to Manuel Gottsching today as well, Inventions for Electric Guitar. Also: Marissa Nadler - Ballads for Living & Dying.

havent bought anything new for ages and went to rough trade and got

they are both really good, cant find anything at about superthriller, other than they seem to be part of the shunt theatre collective who did that dance bear dance thing in bethnal green and that newproduction with the national threature in a railway arch at london bridge. does any know anything else about them?
