Big-Up to Blackdown & Dusk for doing playing this one.
It really surprised me how much I liked this, sweet release. Feels a lot more aggressive than Burial.
Also to the DMZ thing, as if we needed more reason to give up on dubstep.
You're better off not knowing. Epitome of half step post-DnB noise. Except without the production skills.

how we went from neverland/stuck to what sounds like a sexually frustrated teenage boy rapping about coming in girls' faces over halfstep noise in the space of 4 years i will never know
that basically sum's up dubstep for me, oh the frustration.

@ computer rock. Shack's set at fwd was a mix of old and new stuff, he was playing a different version of new dawn which killed it, it had that mad percussion but without the abrasive noise bit which I'm not so keen on really... I kinda feel differently about the way his sound has developed - he completely exceeded my expectations in where I thought it would go from what he was originally making for skull disco. I think you'd be really into the live sets though as it retains the same kind of vibe as the skull disco sound - it's not completely like the newest mah mix which to me isn't quite as good as his sets. I think the previous mix he did for mah was better actually. I think he might have played some stuff I haven't heard during his fwd set, but it's difficult to tell as my memory of it all is pretty hazy...
gutted to not be able to reach the hyperdub night, just moved to uni in Newcastle and it's weird looking at London from the other side - can understand other peoples jealousy of Londoners now
