A bunch of tracks floating between garage, dub techno and dubstep. Hope y'all enjoy.

The latest post on Make Some Bass is for those of you who've been digging that West Coast electro-crunk (or whatever you call it) that Mary Anne Hobbs' been pushing the last few weeks:

Hovatron talks about his track Young Blood/Bad Blood, forthcoming on Lowriders Collective.

bare BARE BONES
The blog is an interesting idea, but I just read the BokBok article and he doesn't mention anything of practical use whatsoever.
Apart from that it's probably a good idea to be drunk or high while producing

Ablieton Live 101

I have been using Energy XT for sometime now to produce, The reason why i got this little software is because of its modular nature and also its cheap and lightweight. i could run it from my usb stick.

But i grew tired of it and moved onto Ableton Live recently. I purchased some tutorials from Nick Maxwell @ http://nickstutorials.com/ . They are great! but they focus on specific insturments and a lot to do with sound design. I have benefited immensely from his tutorials.

But i want to learn more on the sequencing, I am trying to avoid having to take an Ableton 101 course, (has anyone taken a 101 course?).

@ rivetrenuck i payed for the monthly membership on Mac Pro Video and watched a lot of their 101 videos on Logic and found them really useful, cant vouch for Ableton but i guess they would be useful. You can choose between overviews or specific instruments. Worth trying for one month or so anyhow i would say.
Anyone got any links to useful tutorials or information about mixing down / compression / mastering (preferably for logic)?
Ta.
