tbh the mastering thing is absurd, I don't think ANY of the tunes on the ukfunky shop have been 'mastered' - they are just more or less battered with a limiter. I guess its hard to sort the economics, cause sales aren't that high I guess, but, it becomes a vicious circle. One of the tunes I bought off there was mono
I love the site & will continue to buy tunes there. I would rather less tunes & more quality tho, a few bob spent on mastering here n there.

i actually said here that i think rhythmically she's so different to the rest of the funky lot that it's gonna be really interesting if djs from other scenes start picking up on her stuff - see what spawns out of that. Trust Hyperdub to take on that mantle...
