This is the second in a series of unmixed mp3 compilations I am putting together. I've been trawling my favourite Myspace pages looking for the freshest and most innovative unreleased music around which I have then recorded and now present to you here. If you want more information on any of these tunes or the artists featured please leave a comment at the end. Enjoy!

1. Bubbla - X5 Dubs

Ringtones Vol2 begins with some Bassline. 'Bubbla' is the first of two tunes from North of England producer X5 Dubs featured here. Both sound like pure out-of-control fairground rave music and provide even further proof that this is the scene to watch right now.

2. Swing That Skirt - LD

LD works at the Transition vinyl cutting house in London and also produces and DJs. This is a clip of his track 'Swing That Skirt' getting a reload in the rave.

3. Give Me Up RmX - LD

This second track from LD is warm and fat. Nice bubblin' feel to the percussion with a massaging sub to keep everyone happy!

4. Creepy Tower - Shotz
5. Super Trigger - Shotz feat. Devlin

These next two beats are by a producer I rate highly - Shotz. Devlin, a young but accomplished, white MC from Dagenham lays appropriate lyrics over the second offering:

Little shitbags loving off petty crime
Back when my bars and my flows weren't recognised
But now I'm hyped up and I'm feeling energised
I'm trying to better Grime make sure it never dies

You wanna make bets I'll flop you'll lose
Prick you best keep a small amount set aside
Cos I just want cash in my hand kept under my hat
Not my business televised

And a lyricist never dies they view life with better eyes
And as far as the rest go never mind
I feel they're not concerned and I'm well inclined
For some reason people are dreaming

Thinking, believing or even competing
Keep on deceiving your personal feelings
Fuck your achievements
as ancient as Eden

6. Bokka - X5 Dubs

Second track from X5 Dubs is much like the first - love the switch-up half way through in both.

7. What Can I Do - T2
8. Gonna Be Mine - T2
9. My Baby's Song - T2

Producer T2 has just scored at number two in the UK charts with his debut 'Heartbroken'. Here are three more tracks from his Myspace page.

10. Having A Bad Day - Lee Brasco
11. Computer Girls - Lee Brasco

I think Lee Brasco is connected to college Grime mans Ruff Squad in some way. Both of these tunes are excellent, the first wouldn't sound out of place in a Dubstep set and the second makes excellent use of console sound samples.

12. Don't Be Greedy - Chipmunk

Chipmunk is a 16 year old East London Grime MC making a big name for himself. Easily the best younger and able to hold his own with the premier league also.

13. My Way - No Lay

No Lay is a female MC who has been around for a while and deserves more attention than she already gets. This is the first of four tracks from her on this compilation.

14. Information Centre - Wiley
15. Aint Ready Axe Man - Wiley

Two tracks from Wiley next up though. Information Centre is one of my favourite tracks this year. The production is very deep. Would love to here some MCing on it.

16. Back In Da Day - Lewi White

I've put two versions of Lewi White's 'Back In Da Day' on here. This is the (I think superior) original. I can't stop hammering this track. The bassline is very funky and all the references to UK Garage and the 90's scattered expertly throughout guarantee a smile on your face.

17. Things Could Get Ugly - No Lay

No Lay sprays more fire over a wild crystalline-synth arpeggio Grime beat on this second track. Don't mess with No Lay.

18. Tun Fool Get Twisted DS1 feat. - Tez Kid

This track opens head Bassline DJ Jamie Duggan's most recent mix and features an MC with popular vocal hooks - Tez Kid. The sound is very northern yet also has that same crystalline sound some south UK Grime producers are also exploring. The bass and beats combine to create a weird techno-hybrid track that has a relentless driving energy reminiscent of early 90's Hardcore Rave. Tez Kid completes the mayhem with catchy lyrics in between 'Psycho' samples.

19. Take The Breath - Green Calibre

Bit of a big switch here with a song from a band who are where I'm originally from near Milton Keynes. Reminds me a bit of Joy Division via the lyrical content and the general sound of the song. All the elements work together really well on this track and it is still high on energy and pace despite the mournful lyrics - a pleasing combo that adds seriousness to the subject matter.

20. Back In Da Day Prt2 - Lewi White

Here is the remix, this time with untold carefully hand beat-matched samples of all the biggest UK Garage records woven in. A real work of art.

21. Steppa - DJ Tubby
22. Mashed - Benny Snoosh

These next two tunes are all about the ganja.

23. Battle Scars - USF

United Sound have been around for a while and I think do alright performing abroad. This is an unusual Grime track mixing a London producer with a northern MC.

25. Bars Of Truth - No Lay
26. Wolf In Sheeps Clothing - No Lay

Last two from No Lay and she proves her strong consistency for the third and fourth time on this compilation with these two.

27. So Many - Charley feat. Wong

This is quite an old track from a talented young female singer name Charley. Wong's simple-sounding nursery rhyme beat sits perfectly with the overly-cute vocals.

28. Fresh - Black Ops
29. Cash Combooooooooo - Black Ops
30. Do It - Black Ops

Black Ops conclude the compilation with three standard bangers.

Thank you for this public service!

The DS1 track is... I believe 'mental' is the appropriate word across the pond? I love the kitchen sink approach when it's pulled off.

Initially excited about No-Lay, a bit disappointed though... the Shystie effect? She's too serious, lighten it up a bit! Could be advice to a lot of grime MCs mebbe.

Wow, "back in the day" is quite the grime meme, eh? Like those tracks though, I'm a sucker for samples/references.
