LWR and Capital had some really good shows as well. Mike Allen was instrumental in bringing early hip-hop and electro to a wider audience.

Yep you're right, I sold some of my collection around 1990 as I was so skint. Including some 80s stuff, but mostly house and techno. Bad move that was, lost some DJ International, Mr Fingers, some Transmat stuff : (
