like the rest of the first wave music blogging world (it seems) am currently busy working on a book project but haven't given up on the blog stuff though production rate has gone down considerably as actual want-just-to-listen-to-the-music time increases exponentially (also since last i knocked around here full time i've got married yay!); here's the one i'm currently co-running/writing with my wife:

I can safely say that the image of some beshitted, bawling cripple crawling away in futility from this jacked-up, H.I.V. positive rapist fueled mostly by his desire to infect isn't going to leave the consciousness very soon.

Interesting stuff. Do you ever post on Waxidermy? You put up a few things that I've read about over there (and in the Acid Archives book) like Heitkotter and Earthen Vessel. Some guy over there is working on a Heitkotter reish I believe. Will DL over the weekend, cheers.

You're not wrong there - when I started reading it I had no idea what it was going to be but after a few lines even before anything had developed it was obvious that it was going to be pornography. I wonder what it was that gave it away.

I've downloaded a few things from Waxidermy, but kinda forgot about it (cheers for the reminder). Acid Archives is my source for finding out about most of that stuff, honestly. I won't be upping anything that's completely unavailable/unmentioned elsewhere until I find the cable I need to rip vinyl/buy another one.

And badly written sado-porn happens to be an interest of mine.

I really like that book. The main Acid Archives dude posts over on Waxidermy - Patrick the Lama. I believe they are working on a new version, which is going to cut out a load of stuff that isn't really needed in a price guide as it's not in demand.

I like that site a lot as well. Nuff records. I think they function like porn for me actually. I spend enough time looking at photos of 'em.
