(Runtime: 55mins)

One or two clatters but nowt too embarrassing I reckon (I've not been deejaying that long). I've recently acquired shitloads of this sort of stuff, along with a load of 2step so I might squeeze a few more mixes out at some point.

Enjoy!

Will do.

I'll have another dig in the crate sometime soon. Its just a complete pleasure mixing Garage so I don't need much encouragement...

Ach!

Fantastic mix Benny! For some reason it really reminds me of the sets I'd listen to on Upfront FM when driving from north to south london on the weekend. Lovely summer vibes :D

Nice set. Heres a few nuum moments.

9.30 - (track 3?) "Look no Further" vocal used by by Run Tings on Subplates 1
Track 8 has a big dirty Stalag horn lick in there.
Track 10 has the 'Wont you help me understand" vocal from SMF's 'Guillotine'.
Track 12 has (obviously) the 'Just for u London' vocal as used by Euphony.

There's also some massively famous cheesy rave stabs at the end that are lifted from something obvious that I can't think of right now.

also just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of praise - great, great mix.

really made me hear garage as proper ruffed up junglized house music in a way that I usually don't. I think, rather strangely, that 4x4 usually sounds way more junglistic to me than 2step. the faster tempo for one, but also - apropos of something the recent Kode9 Wire interview - something about the twitchy energy of the music straining to be released from its 4x4 underpinning.
