Has anyone heard the new Slix from Ruff Sqwad album? It's recommended by Prancehall but does anyone else rate it? Tinchy Stryder's mixtape was poor rhythm track wise but hopefully most of Slix's album will be inhouse Ruff Sqwad productions.

really pleased to discover the legendery scoobee has a myspace page. for those who don't know about him, producer and MC. one of the first faces on the scene. st bonns old boy, mcing with kano, dee, demon etc. from like 2000 or somehting.

theres some new mp3 from wiley over a beat that sounds like footsies scars on prancehalls blog. the beats good, rhymes are boring. didnt bother listening to the whole track as the whole beef beef beef activity in grime is too dull and i think wiley was talking about 'dylan' again which = zzzzzzzzzzzz. can MCs please talk about something else for once?

Out of interest, what wiley bars do you consider useful??
ha@useful. i like pretty much all wileys bars with PAUG, i love verses like the one on 2 for with dizzee, i dont dislike his bars (although i have been finding him increasingly boring), im just bored with the war talk. yeah thats what grime is based on but as with hip hop, people having beef with each other for the sake of having beef is just stupid now, its really old. its like they dont even have legit reasons for it, theyre just instigating it out of habit. its beef for the stupidest/most featherweight/laughable of reasons. i wouldnt mind if the war bars were at least kinda witty, or had some replay value, but they dont (not for me anyway). theyre all too throwaway.

fair enough, just different tastes then.. i think loads of wiley's war bars are funny ('no choong tings wanna cuddle you') and his beef tracks have been on constant rewind for me...
anyway, what the fuck is going on with skepta's album??!! i was listening to a rinse set from 18 months ago yesterday where he was talking about it's imminent release!!
