Dubstep now is better than at any point since 2005 imo.

Yeh I realise it's not a very accurate way of describing funky in musical terms, but it is kind of how it came about. I see where you're coming from with the respect thing re: dubstep/techno, and of course there isn't anything like that with funky (which I agree is positive). Not sure I concur...

Gett Off is one of his top 10 tracks IMO. Obviously it sounds very much of its time, but that level of sleaze and attitude is very rarely found elsewhere.
