If there’s 4-5 of you it’s a beast of a feast, cenobitical heaven

solid range so far - south Asian, Malaysian, Thai

some of my best stir fries started out in life as well planned curries that subsequently went a bit sideways

I just wish curry was as ubiquitous here.
I was in my early 20s before I even had it, and that was in Japan.

Chip shop curry can be a wonderful thing, there are as many types as dialects in Papua New Guinea. I like the spicy orangeish-brown variety ladled out in sparing portions at only the best Chinese-run chippies

Curry sauce is more spiced gravy but it needs to be separated or your chips go rank and soggy, ie a dip

That's one type, sure, but there are denser versions, more like your katsu sauce.

Worst i ever had was from a mobile chippy at a show in Peterborough. Main flavour was pine. In a curry sauce. Fuxxake
