Well it's the usual thing, isn't it. Tons of people I'm still in touch with on Facebook who I'd happily go for a pint with if the opportunity arose, but it usually doesn't. Smaller group of people I actually see from time to time or video chat with or whatever.

this weekend there was a palestine congress organised. police threatened and harrased the owners of the venues so that the organisation had to switch places three times. when it did take place, people were denied entry. police eventually stormed the building, shut down electricity and banned the whole event for the entire weekend. a gazan doctor who was invited to speak was even denied entry to the country, just as yanis varoufakis, who is now forbidden to send any sort of political messages through video's such as zoom.
