Yes - Trackademicks is great. Loads of good remixes from him out there:

he's done a couple of free 'remixtapes' which i played a lot for a while. the second one is absolutely wicked - here it is

Yeah - that bay area crew is all super good. Trackademicks, Josie Stingray, 1o.a.k. Got some things in the pipeline with them (all being well).

Have you heard his Little Dragon remix?

Right on cue... J*Davey getting a push with a video:

I posted about this on my new blog. but seriously does anyone know if this beat has ever materialised outside of this performance? It's really too good to imagine it wont be given life with an actual song. It comes in at 2.57.

Also...I'm putting on another SO BONES night on may 1st. If anyone is in London and fancies it, come on down.

This is truly brilliant. Pitchbent synths rule. :D

Her album's good - 'Slooow' is definitely one of the highlights.

Not trying to be pedantic, just checking - there're two of them, aren't there?

All reminds me a bit of the Neptunes' first album (the electronic version) and early Kelis etc, in terms of the synths. Was listenign to 'Bobby James' on repeat the other week. So good.

Dummy magazine asked me to make an r&b/hip hop themed mix for them. I thought some of you might be vaguely interested. Keep in mind I'm not particularly good at mixing, but I think the music is good at least.

I love this mix! One thing I'd like to see more of is Rnb mixes on the net. And don't worry, your mixing is fine. How the fuck else can you mix this sort of stuff anyway?

I love the lyrics too...

Don't know why but I turn to jelly when I hear that line

It's pretty tragic how badly treated Amerie's last record was.

Sadly I've heard her new single and it's honestly not that good. It sounds like she's kinda reverting back to the smooth grooves of her first album which will obviously please some, but just sounds like a big boring step backwards to me.

Really liking Keri Hilson too - saw vid at the gym last night and seemed fairly ace. Still a sucker for the totally generic, totally obligatory tossed off pop rap interludes. Sometimes. Other times they make me furious. :D

And checking out that So Bones mix, ta.

Re: J*Davey, there are multiple tunes legitimately available round the net, two definitely at:

Find them pretty patchy (but, hey, R&B...) but do really like both free ones there, 'Slooow' and 'No More'
