Fucking hell, what a draw. Slightly disappointed with Lyon-Bordeaux, cos wanted to see how the French teams would match up against, say, Man U, but Bayern-United is a monster tie.

Inter-CSKA...Inter probably the only team to ever play three 'ex-USSR' teams in one CL season. God, could it be Jose's year again -s tarting to think it might be.

Exactly. Only saw Fiorentina highlights, but that Robben goal was a Messi-like rocket. And the sheer weight of history between United and Bayern should make it absorbing. Think it's good that first leg is in Muncih,a s they could've been blown away at OT, ruining the tie a bit.

Everyone seen the semi-final draw too? United-Lyon would make a killer semi, and the stage is set for Man U vs Inter or Barca in the final... Arsenal-Barca should be a hell of a game, but anyone who saw Barca-Valencia has got to doubt that anyone except a well-disciplined Inter can stop Messi right now.

Have they met since that ridiculous final?

The commentator should have been screaming though at that point. Where's Barry Davies when you need him?

Plus he doesn't seem to understand, er, numbers. Fulham surely intot he quarter finals??? Eight minutes left and Juve only need to get one goal to win the tie??? What is so diffciult to grasp about the away goals rule - some people treat it like an equation by newton or something.

I'll bookmark too, if I can overcome my disappointment that it's not about Brighton

If I could overcome my disappointment from when Brighton beat southampton on Sky earlier this season, I could probably bring myself to write about them. Always thought Poyet was a fantastic player and a scorer of great goals - hope he does well as a manager.
