The 'news, gossip, slander...' threads weren't locked just for their length, they had become mini forums of themselves.

Anyway, I'll lock this thread tomorrow if no one complains, if that is what's wanted?

that outlook video sums up why i hate dubstep, if i wanted loose hippie bitches with dreadlocks i'd go to a greenpeace march....

also "

Shakletons live set is a must see if you get the opportunity, saw it at the last Ruffage and it was something else. Ironically the dj after him was also kode 9 that night

"

what are people saying about this one? Had to double take when I spotted it - preview sounds really nice. Good to hear Autechre making something with a bit of a groove to it, they've built it really nicely around the vocal.

i'm sure i'm not the only one, but i just don't really feel excited about anything burial related at this point.

especially stuff that should have been released 2 years ago...

I agree with you. I still like his stuff but the moment he was channelling has passed.

From the Daily Star...

Seal isn't in to dubstep. "Last time I was in England I listened to a lot of dubstep and thought it was crap," he said. "I understood it but I wasn't impressed by it at all. While I have to embrace the fact that I'm from a different demographic, honestly, I thought it was s***e."

yeah...

i really feel like the current context of dubstep music doesn't help much either.

will a new burial album really matter? or will it just kind of be a sad reminder of how good things were/could have been....

there's still tons of great stuff being put out, but it's being so marginalized and classified as fringe/experimental stuff that it's hard to find the excitement for it.
