Apparently there was a club in Wakefield that had its last ever Monday night event and that was the follow on.

Hmmmm, maybe but not quite in the sane way somehow. I got a book of photos of Hackney in the 70s and 80s for my birthday. I liked this description but I'm not totally sure it's true...

I mean, there can't be too many routes that are entirely in Hackney; some start or finish there or maybe just pass through it at some part of the journey, so I'm wondering if the conductors would joyfully muss their uniforms injecting the requisite stylish swagger as they crossed the invisible line and entered the magical zone - until Dalston Lane became Balls Pond Road and the reverse process saw them regretfully straightening everything out in accordance with the crushingly stultifying semi-police state rules that govern colourless grey neighbouring boroughs such as Islington.

Demo, who dragged home the used sexy toy, has become a local celebrity as a result of his hilarious antics and he even has his own Facebook page, and racks up as many as 500 likes

500 likes?! Can you even imagine such riches????

I had to come into town so I thought I'd drop into the Wetherspoons I never go in for a quick pint before the parking expires.

There is a possessed man bellowing his head off at nothing, and the barman who served me is literally wearing a bodycam.

Somebody's created a dedicated Cook Report YT channel 🔥

Good disguise from Roger on this one. Also some brilliant self-justification from Phil 'the smiling axeman'

I've been keeping an eye on that channel because I was hoping they'd upload the "Cook vs Yardies" episode which I've never seen, where apparently he confronts Ranking Dread, the baddest badman

also looking for the full video of the satanic panic provoking episode, The Devil's Work, which was probably the fuse that lit the fire that destroyed Leeds based The Sorcerer's Apprentice occult shop

there is this fragment:

Roger Cook - The Devil's Work ( incomplete )

features tales of children drinking sheep's blood in Nottingham, cockney babies being harvested for sacrificial purposes, etc.,

I had The Devil's Work on a shitty-quality DVD-R full of grim UK documentaries yonks ago (worse quality than that YT vid you posted) but haven't ever seen the Yardies one either. Don't suppose you remember what year that one was? Hopefully the uploader will deliver.
Didn't he do a rave exposé too? Or was that inspector Morse?
Yeah, that rings a bell (and remember the Morse episode!) with him and a Dutch cop going through sandwich bags of ecstasy pills and printing up pseudo-rave smiley-face flyers to entrap the dealers (who probably had flat tops).

The nonce one was the episode where we were all "Did you see that?" the next day at school.
