People doesn't really seem to want to escape the city for safety concerns. Demmark has been much less hit than the UK and I doubt people feel more unsafe in Copenhagen than in the rest of the country. And additional square meters becomes in high demand after more than a year of remote work. Also people have a lot of savings and disposable income with very generous subsidizing policies during the pandemic. All those kroners are used for home improvement or new homes.
Interesting ... and thank you chava - maybe like Leo , first time i heard housing demand could be up in both markets.
Here it was a continuation of the old ' Got to get my place up in the country' ,
and once people do it takes them oh a season , a year to realize ' nothing happens at night ' in my neighborhood , ' i can notice if someone walks on the street ' it's so quiet.
Then they want back in .
Having a fam can / does make it different sure.
Between the COVID and rising waters issues ... i have been looking at maps too
