The fraction-of-a-second pause after entering your password wrong when logging onto a Windows PC in which the standard 'Welcome' greeting comes up before it switches to the 'username or password incorrect' screen with a big red X on it. It's like "Oh hey buddy, good to see ya agaiWAIT A SECOND!"

#cachemonet is an exploration into paired randomness. The site uses two separate random arrays that generate animated compositions using two planes, a fixed foreground element, and a repeated background element. A new random composition is generated by page refresh every four seconds.
Where paired with audio, the application explores the possibility of an autonomous robot as a video director.
